I was nervous about this as this was the first time I had ever used any service like this. At first I was reluctant to use Card Depot. The drivers license and they scan your face side to side. I decided to give it a shot. Immediately after I had placed my order, they call me to make sure I wasn't being scammed or pressured to buy what I was buying (it was a significant dollar value). Why are these gift cards so cheap?
We buy gift cards in bulk from brands & other companies with large supplies of gift cards. Because brands get almost a free loan from selling a gift card, they're happy to sell them in large quantities at a slight discount. We buy them in bulk, negotiate a great deal & pass the savings onto you. (Sort of like Costco or your favorite discount retailer.) -

For new accounts or exceptionally large purchases, we may take a few minutes to verify your card & identity before delivering it.

Why do I have to verify my identity (KYC)?
Just like every other gift card marketplace, we have to verify your identity before we can sell you a gift card. This is for your safety and makes sure we're selling a gift card to you, and not someone using your information to commit fraud.
It typically takes 1-5 minutes, and is no different than the process you'd use to sign up for a trading app, bank account or credit card. You'll provide a quick picture of your ID & a picture of yourself, and you're done. This only needs to be done once and your account will be permanently verified.

No, our gift cards never expire. You can use them whenever you'd like.
However, we can't guarantee merchants won't change prices or run out of stock, so it's good to use them as soon as possible.
